Senator Mullins moved to amend the bill on page two, section forty-five, lines thirty-four through thirty-six, by striking out all of paragraph (C) and inserting in lieu thereof a new paragraph, designated paragraph (C), to read as follows:

(C) Six days to be designated by the county board to be used by the employees outside the school environment, all of which shall be scheduled to occur after March 1.;

On page three, section forty-five, line forty-seven, by striking out the words “that are to be” and inserting in lieu thereof the words “which may”;

And,

On page three, section forty-five, lines sixty-one through sixty-eight, by striking out all of subdivision (2) and inserting in lieu thereof a new subdivision, designated subdivision (2), to read as follows:

(2) May count unused accrued instructional time toward the one hundred eighty instructional day requirement:  Provided, That the instructional days recovered through the use of available accrued instructional time need not be separate instructional days.
